“This ten year adventure of creating, developing and producing the festival has been a journey like no other in my life. I am deeply grateful for the participation of all of our partners and sponsors and our local, provincial and federal governments for supporting the arts so fearlessly in this country that I am proud to call home. I’ve been blessed with having the opportunity of living and working world wide as a singer, dancer, choreographer and producer so, to come full circle quite literally around the globe and be back in Brantford where I was born and Norfolk County where South Coast Cultural Society all began, is truly special.”

The Brantford show on August 12th includes Mark Holmes, a British born singer. Homes and his band Platinum Blonde, achieved international success selling a total of 10 times platinum and playing arenas and stadiums throughout the 80’s, 90’s until today. They made their debut in North America in 1984 with the release of the double platinum selling record “Standing In the Dark”.

Holmes has been nominated for numerous awards and was inducted into the broadcast hall of fame in 2008. He will have his star on the Walk of Fame this September 2023 with a show to follow at Massey Hall.
