It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Millards’ Partner Mike Terdik.

Mike passed away last Friday surrounded with love at the Brantford General Hospital at the age of 62.

Mike lived life to the fullest. Natalie was his soulmate and focus for 35 amazing years. Together they nurtured a caring and close family. Mike had many accomplishments but nothing made him prouder than his two sons. He was a loving and supportive father and Ryan and Mark were always in his heart.

Mike was a partner at Millards Chartered Professional Accountants in Brantford for 32 years. The Partners and staff at Millards were devastated by the news of Mike’s passing. His loss creates a deep and profound void in our hearts but he leaves a wake of fond memories. Mike’s influence and enthusiasm was felt by his clients and co-workers. He will be dearly missed for his character, dedication and care for his MiIlards’ team and the passion that he applied to both his personal and professional life.

In his leisure time, Mike loved golf and gardening. Whether he was on the links or in the backyard, Mike enjoyed the relaxation of the outdoors and the camaraderie of others.

Mike was popular with everyone that knew him. Whether an acquaintance or a close friend, Mike had a way with people. He was a loving husband, a dedicated father and a trustworthy friend. To his nieces and nephews, he was a fun, charismatic uncle. To his clients and Millards team, he was a quiet yet confident leader and a mentor to so many that had the pleasure of working for him and being his Partner. Mike was dedicated to his craft and committed to his community. Mike put his heart into every pursuit.

Mike is survived by siblings Betty (John) Reynolds, Cathy (Ron) Vandesompele, Rick (Lana), and sister in law Lisa Toth. He is predeceased by his parents Eli and Clara and brother Stevie.

Donations in Mike’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Brantford SPCA. A private family service will be held with interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
