Many areas of the world are experiencing an expanding outbreak of respiratory illness caused by COVID-19. Canada’s list of infected continues to grow and in light of the recommendations of Canadian and provincial health officials for social distancing, we are halting face-to-face meetings until at least April 6th.
Beginning immediately, Millards Brantford be providing drop boxes in the lobby of our office for incoming mail and packages. In the interest of team safety, all mail and packages will be held for 24 hours before being reviewed by our team.
To decrease the number of visitors to the front desk, all completed tax packages will be sent to clients via Xpresspost. This will be our protocol until at least March 30th and will be reviewed at that time.
Millards Chartered Professional Accountants has a strong sense of obligation to protect the health and well being of our employees and clients. We are monitoring events as they unfold and our dedication to our community and team will be our priority as we move forward.
With the tax return deadline approaching, this is one of the busiest times of the year for our firm. Rest assured that we are working diligently to balance the expectations of our clients and the safety of our staff.
