Opportunities to continuously build and strengthen client relationships is what originally excited Matt about a career in accounting, and it continues to be his motivation today.

Matt takes a forward-looking approach when assisting clients with their business and family financial decisions. This allows him to address the issues of today while simultaneously planning for the future of tomorrow, resulting in Matt becoming his clients most trusted advisor.

Matt was educated at The University of Western Ontario and obtained his CPA, CA while working for Millards in 2010. After working at an international accounting firm in the GTA for 10 years, he re-joined Millards in 2020. He became a Partner in 2022 and specializes in owner-operated businesses and their various complexities as well as audit/review services for a variety of types of organizations and corporations.

Matt was raised locally and with his wife Andrea have 3 young children. They are regular participants in anything athletic and volunteers in the community.
