The Partners and staff of Millards congratulate Nina Nguyen and Madison Beedham for recently passing their final examinations to obtain the designation of Chartered Professional Accountant.

Their successful completion of the Common Final Examination was not a surprise to their coworkers and clients. Both Nina and Madison are full time employees at Millards with a track record of dedication to their field and attention to detail in their work.

Stacey Goodwin, CPA, CA, LPA at Millards says the pair have worked hard to earn their designation.

“Nina and Madison have a passion and commitment for their careers and the clients we serve. They compliment the incredible Millards team and we’re thrilled by their accomplishments and the added knowledge and expertise they bring to our firm.”

Madison Beedham recognized her numeric abilities early and says her skill-sets run in the family.

“Becoming a CPA has allowed me to follow in my Dad’s footsteps, while giving me an opportunity to put my passion with numbers to use.”

For Nina Nguyen, passing the Common Final Examination has deep meaning for her entire family.

“I always knew I wanted to be a CPA since high school because of the challenges the accounting courses brought. My parents were refugees from Vietnam and came here for a better world for me. Passing the CFE and being a CPA will show that their sacrifice has paid off and is something our family can be proud of.”

The Common Final Examination (CFE) is a three-day examination requiring candidates to demonstrate depth and breadth of competency development in accordance with the CPA Competency Map.

Candidates must demonstrate Breadth in all six core competency areas and must also demonstrate Depth in two core competency areas. The Depth must be in Financial Reporting or Management Accounting, plus one from the other core competency areas.
